Our Technology
A clearer picture of your oral health
Intraoral cameras are small, handheld devices that capture high-resolution images inside your mouth in real time. As we examine your teeth and gums, those images appear instantly on a screen you can see alongside us.
This means we can show you exactly what we're seeing rather than simply describing it, making it easier to understand a diagnosis and feel confident in a treatment recommendation. Intraoral images also serve as detailed visual documentation of your oral health over time, and can be submitted directly to insurance providers to support coverage approvals.

Precise imaging with significantly less radiation
Digital X-rays use sensors that are far more sensitive than traditional film, producing clear, high-quality images at a fraction of the radiation exposure. They appear on screen immediately, so your dentist can review them with you during your appointment and move forward without unnecessary waiting.

Accurate, comfortable, and built for the long term
Our 3D digital scanner captures thousands of digital frames per second, assembling them into a precise 3D model of your teeth and gums. The process is contact-free and fast, with no trays or impression materials required, making it a more comfortable experience, particularly for patients with a sensitive gag reflex.
That 3D model serves several purposes depending on your treatment:
- Custom restorations. Crowns, bridges, veneers, and nightguards are designed from the digital model with a high degree of accuracy.
- Invisalign treatment. The digital scan is the starting point for all Invisalign treatment at both locations. It produces the precise measurements needed to design your aligner series, and the Invisalign Outcome Simulator lets you see a virtual representation of your expected result before you commit to treatment.
- Long-term monitoring. Every scan becomes part of your permanent record. Using scan overlay technology, we can overlay scans from different visits to detect subtle changes over time (tooth wear, shifting, or gum recession) that are important to catch early.

Precise, gentle care for teeth and gums
Dental lasers use focused light to treat a small, targeted area. Laser technology is available at our Headon location only, and our team will let you know when it could be a good fit for you. It can be used to:
- Treat tooth sensitivity. Laser treatment can help calm sensitive areas of the teeth.
- Treat cold sores and canker sores. It can ease these sores and support healing.
- Reduce bacteria in periodontal pockets. As part of gum therapy, it helps clean the pockets around the teeth.
- Perform minor gum surgery. It offers a precise option for small gum procedures.

Technology That Serves the Patient
Every piece of technology we use at The Dental Manor is chosen because it makes your experience better, your care more accurate, or your treatment more comfortable. Fewer surprises, clearer explanations, and outcomes you can see and understand: that's the standard we hold ourselves to at both locations.
